•    I am a Learning Disabilities Teacher/Consultant (LDT/C) and a member of the Child Study Team. As a Learning Disabilities Teacher/Consultant I work collaboratively with parents, teachers, and colleagues to provide research based instructional strategies to assist pupils who are struggling academically.  I primarily work with students who are eligible for Special Education and Related Services but I also provide supports through the Intervention and Referral Services Team (IRST).

I have been an educator for over twenty years starting out as a Fifth-grade classroom teacher.  I then became a Special Education teacher for grades K-8 before becoming a LDT/C and member of the Child Study Team. I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Rutgers College and a Master's degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education from Rutgers Graduate School of Education. I also attended Georgian Court College where I obtained training to become a New Jersey State Certified LDT/C. For the past several years I have been attending a Doctoral program at Rutgers University with a focus on Education, Culture and Society.  I am also New Jersey State Certified to teach Elementary Education, Special Education, and Social Studies.  I believe that learning is a lifelong process, and as an educator it is important to continually grow as a professional.
