Mrs. Pasqualicchio

Mrs. Pasqualicchio studied fine arts at the California College of Art.  Mrs. Pasqualicchio has a B.A. in art education from The College of New Jersey and a M.A. from Ashford University.  Before starting a career as an educator Mrs. Pasqualicchio worked as a mural artist working in both public and private spaces.  Mrs. Pasqualicchio is an art advocate and she has had her work shown in galleries and museums.  She started teaching in Pemberton in 2012.

Goals for the students in the classes taught by Mrs. Pasqualicchio include exposures and/or understanding of the elements of art: line, shape, color, texture, value and form.  The students will explore organizing the art elements using the principles of design: pattern, movement, unity, contrast, rhythm and balance.  Concepts are presented displaying modes in which art and science, art and mathematics, art and literature and art and history overlap and are woven together. Culture influences art and art influences culture.  Student art work uses higher order thinking skills and art challenges are constructed using open-ended opportunities for a high rate of student success. Students will focus on multiple approaches to create their artwork including observation, reflection and imagination.
