Hello! My name is Robin Salaga and I am your child's fifth grade teacher. I started at Denbo in February of 2011 teaching fourth grade and have taught fifth since the fall of 2011! Fifth graders are truly the best!  They are more independent at this age and take charge of their learning. This is my fourteenth year teaching at Denbo and I enjoy it immensely! Not only do I want the best for each of my students but it is also my job to help them grow as young people navigating this world. Good character is important as I strive to be a positive role model for these young learners.

In 2003 I graduated from Holy Family University with a BA in Elementary Education. Then I returned for my M.ED in 2010 for the title of Reading Specialist. I've taught second grade, first grade, and K-6 as a Reading Specialist before coming to Pemberton. I've had practicum and student teaching experiences with third grade as well. 

My teaching philosophy is every child can learn when they are motivated or excited about what they are learning. You are your child's best teacher.
