After graduating Allegheny College in 1992, I accepted my first teaching position at Lawrence Middle School in Lawrence, NJ.  I taught music classes and ran the band program there for 12 years.  In addition, I ran the school TV station for 4 years, and was the high school softball coach for 9.  I moved to Pemberton High School in 2004, and spent 8 full years there.  I took ove the 5th grade band program in March of 2014 and have loved every second of it.  

I live in Lawrence with my wife and five kids.
