Hello all! I would like to welcome you to Denbo-Crichton Elementary. I am Marquise Thomas, a first year teacher and I will be beginning my teaching adventure with 4th grade! I am extremely excited about embarking on this journey with each and every student!

I earned a Bachelors Degree in Kinesiology at Hampton University, while also serving as a facilitator for a mentoring organization named Gentelligence. This experience and opportunity prompted me to change gears in my career path to something more rewarding; uplifting the youth while educating them and fostering relationships. I substituted for two years in the Camden School District before I became a certified teacher.

I love spending time with my family, enjoying nature and the outdoors, exercising and sports training, and listening to music. 

My goal is to educate students to the largest possible capacity while building respectful rapports with them (and expanding their music pallet). 

I am dedicated to ensuring the well-being of students. I strongly encourage guardians to reach out and communicate with me any concerns or questions. I look forward to meeting everyone!
