Welcome Parents and Guardians to the Denbo Wolfpack!

Hi!  my name is Ms. Kathy Vogel; I have been an educator for over 21 years.  My first four years if teaching were in a school district in Ocean County.  The rest of my career has been here in the Pemberton School District.  I currently teach Academic Mastery here at Denbo Crichton Elementary School.  The grades I teach are Kindergarten, First and Second grades.  My focus in Academic Mastery is on reading and assisting our youngest scholars to be independent readers, writers, and thinkers.  I have several certifications such as:  Orton Gillingham Multisensory reading I,II,III & IV from Fairleigh Dickenson University, Reading Recovery from Rutgers University, and Fundations which is a Wilson Language Basics Program.  I enjoy working with our youngest scholars to show them how to navigate the wonderful world of reading and writing.

When I am not teaching, I like to go fishing for fluke, and crabs and always enjoy a good beach day!  Even a cloudy beach day is a good beach day!  I also enjoy reading, gardening, and playing with my very energetic Australian Shepherd.
