HOMEWORK WILL NOT BE ASSIGNED DURING VIRTUAL LEARNING
Homework is given every day except Friday. You can expect to see Math, Spelling, and Handwriting homework throughout the week in your child's blue folder. Students will have 1 assignment each night on average. Towards the end of the year, it may increase to 2. I ALWAYS check homework for accuracy, however it is graded based on completion. Students may be asked to fix their homework with me during our W.I.N. period to ensure comprehension.
MATH
Math homework is given 2x a week. It directly relates to our current chapter and is ripped out of the MyMath book. Students should complete both front and back!
SPELLING
Spelling homework is given 2x a week. At the beginning of each week, a new Spelling list is handed out to each child and stapled in their agenda. Spelling lists correlate directly to our Reading Lesson for that week. Children have the option of choosing ABC Order, 3x Each, or Fancy Fingers!
HANDWRITING
Handwriting homework is given 1x a week and begins in the Spring. It is used to help teach the children cursive writing.
