BS in Biology Graduate Level Teaching Certificate Advanced Placement Certified for Environmental Science

Mrs. Amanda Grygon

Hello! I have taught high school science since 2012, and have been at PTHS since 2014. I teach AP Environmental Science, Forensic Science, Biology, Honors Comprehensive Science, and Comprehensive Science. I graduated from Rider University with a B.A. in Biology. Following graduation, I worked in a biomedical research lab for a couple of years, where I worked on microchips for bioassays. While working there, I became a published scientist for the work I was doing there. After that, I went back to Rider University for my Graduate Level Teaching Certification in High School Science. I have also received my Certificate in Advanced Placement curriculum and instruction.  I love science and getting students excited about it.  Evolution and sustainability are my two favorite topics to teach!
