Hi!

My name is Michelle Malacrida and I am still so excited to be part of the PTHS Counseling Department (as of July 2016)!

Background: I recieved my Masters Degree in School Counseling from Montclair State University in 2015. I have worked as a counselor in three other school districts including Barnegat Township, Manchester Township, and East Windsor Regional and am proud to say that I am now part of our family here at Pemberton. 

Counseling Style: I unconditionally believe that every single one of my students can acheive success and that it is my job to help them get there. "Better than yesterday" is the kind of counselor, more importantly the kind of person, I strive to be every day. These two main concepts are what I wish to impart to my students. My goal is to develop positive rapport, confidence, and trust with my students so that I can propel them into the direction of positive decision making.
