• BIOLOGY I 
    Credits: 5 

    The Biology I course is intended for those students preparing to go on to college. The major objective is to
    acquaint students with the basic principles of the life sciences. Key underlying concepts include genetics,
    microbiology, protein expression, evolution, and DNA. An important part of the program is laboratory time. It is
    used to expand the ideas covered during regular class time. 
       

    Through the semester you will be guided through lecture, various individual and group projects, labs, quizzes, and tests.
