B.A. Music
Mrs. Christina Pinto
Christina Pinto began her teaching career in Pemberton Township schools in February 2001. Christina is a graduate of Pemberton Township High School where she was active in both the choral and instrumental music programs, but it was not until her studies at Rutgers University, where she earned her B.A. in Music, that she realized her passion to teach and pursue a career in music education. Christina started her vocation teaching general music and directing the choir at Helen A. Fort Middle School. Her career began to soar when, in 2010, she was transferred to the district’s high school where she worked with the high school choir and served as a bridge between both the high and middle school choral programs. Christina’s interest in musical theater drove her to start a musical theater program at Helen A. Fort Middle School and the district’s summer enrichment theater program.
Currently, she is the director of the Vocal Music program at Pemberton Township High School and also serves as the Fine Arts Music Experience (FAME) Academy facilitator. Christina is passionate about building leaders in music, which is proven by the many students who pursue choral and music program majors in colleges and universities. She is most proud of the students she mentored and taught who have attended prestigious schools such as St. Olaf’s College, Westminster College, NYU, Ithaca, Rowan University and Mason Gross School of the Arts.
Christina currently resides in Mount Holly, New Jersey where she is an active member in her church community. She is married to the love of her life, Michael, and is the mother of four beautiful children, Michael, Caleb, Joshuah and Rebekah.
