Mrs. Devonn Lindsay

I am a School Psychologist and a member of the Child Study Team for Pemberton Township Public Schools. As a School Psychologist, I work with school staff, students, and families to help students succeed academically, socially, behaviorally, and emotionally. My training and background is in mental health, learning, and behavior.  I primarily work with students who are eligible for Special Education and Related Services to to help create and/or oversee the implementation of a student's Individualized Education Program (IEP).  I also function as a school-based counselor with students who require counseling per their IEP.  In addition to working with students who are eligible for Special Education and Related Services, I also provide supports through the Intervention and Referral Services Team (IRST) for general education students who may be struggling academically, socially, or behaviorally.

I have been an educator for eighteen years starting out as a substitute teacher and a special education Instructional Assistant before becoming a School Psychologist and member of the Child Study Team. I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Delaware, a Master's degree in School Psychology and an Education Specialist degree from Rowan University. I also earned a Nationally Certified School Psychologist accreditation as well as my Supervisor's Certification. My past experience includes a wide range of school-aged children from Preschool through age 21 in a variety of roles and settings.   In our district, I currently serve as School Psychologist on the Denbo-Crichton and Stackhouse Child Study Teams.
