I have been an early childhood educator since 2005 and have a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education.  Children thrive in a dynamic classroom that is child-centered and that embraces a child’s need to explore the world in order to understand it. Using developmentally appropriate practice and the HighScope curriculum, we build upon the strengths of each child to promote capable independence. Our classroom is a very active and accessible setting for investigation!

We are fortunate to be a dual-language classroom. Children will be exposed to both English and Spanish during the day. Dual language classrooms prepare children to become global citizens by supporting our English language learners, exposing others to a new language and helping children to value different perspectives.

Besides myself, your child will interact with our classroom aide Natali Perez, and our school helper aide on a daily basis. Our classroom symbol is the Blue Moon.
