Mrs. Katy Shell
Hello! I am excited to be a Speech and Language Pathologist at the Pemberton Early Childhood Education Center! I studied Psychology and Linguistics at Rutgers and Speech/Language Pathology at Montclair. I hold an M.A. in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a specialty in Speech/Language. I have been a part of the Pemberton community for twelve years, my first year being at Busansky and the Early Childhood Center. I spent six years working with the students of Emmons and have been at PECEC for five years. I strive to support students, teachers, and families to establish positive speech and language habits. My goal is to encourage effective communication skills so children experience success in all facets of the educational environment. I consider it a privilege to work with your students and continue to learn from them every day!
In addition to working with children during the day, I get to experience language development first hand at home with my two-year-old son. Please let me know if you ever have a question, comment, or concern. Email is the best way to reach me; contact me at kshell@pemb.org.
