Mrs. Wendy Danter

Hello Families of A8!!  My name is Wendy Danter and I will be the General Education Teacher in your child's classroom this year.  Three other very important people that will be working directly with your child this year are Mrs. Munn who is the Special Education Teacher in the classroom, as well as our 6 hour aide Ms. Ivers and our 4 hour aide Mrs. Wityk.  I'm so excited about having the privilege to teach your child and watch them grow.  I would like to take this opportunity to share a few things about myself both personally and professionally.  I graduated from Rowan University with my degree in Elementary Education.  I attended Mary Grove College and received my Masters in the Art of Teaching.  I received my Preschool-Grade 3 certification from Monmouth University.  This will be my eighteenth year teaching in Pemberton Township.  I am married and have a twenty one year old daughter and a fifteen year old son.  I enjoy reading, paddle boarding, lounging at the beach and spending time with my family and friends.  I am looking forward to a successful school year and a lot of new memories!!!

Every day is a learning experience!  Children benefit from a consistent routine, so please have your child attend school on a daily basis.  Not only will good attendance help build good habits for the children, it can help alleviate academic problems later on.  If children are regularly absent, they may not be fully prepared for school.  Preschool is a time for building the social, emotional, cognitive, and language skills needed for school readiness. Thank you!!
