I was born and raised in the Lancaster County area of Pennsylvania.  I relocated to Southern New Jersey in 1993 with my husband.  I graduated from Millersville University in May of 1993 with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and Early Childhood.  In the past 29 years of teaching, I have enjoyed interacting with preschool age children as a preschool assistant, camp counselor, substitute teacher, full-time preschool teacher, assistant director and director of a private preschool.   I am very fortunate to be part of the five star program here at the PECEC.  I have been teaching in the Pemberton Preschool program since I started at Crichton in 2002.  

In my spare time, I love to travel, go camping, go to the beach, spend time on my pontoon boat on the lake where I live, and foster kittens.

I have two older children of my own.  My son and daughter have graduated from Rowan University.  My son has his Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and my daughter has her Bachelor's in Psychology.  Both of my children benefited tremendously from their own preschool experiences and have achieved many academic and social successes along the way.

I enjoy interacting with and supporting young children as they grow by exploring the world around them.  My goal every day is to make learning fun and exciting and to foster a love of learning that will last a lifetime.
