All About Me

My name is Danielle Skinner, and I am so excited to have the opportunity to be your child's teacher this year at PECEC. I have a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood from TCNJ and I have had the opportunity to work with children for many years of my life. My mother owns and operates a long-standing preschool and I spent literally many years there watching, learning and working there. I believe in meeting each student when they are developmentally. I aligned my lessons to meet the needs of each student in my classroom. I strongly believe that students learn best through play and positive modeling and I strive every day to provide a warm, nurturing, caring classroom where your child will have the opportunity to explore, learn and grow at the pace that they need to!  Below you will find some fun and interesting facts about me.

Some of my favorite things!

Hobbies: I love to walk and run and be active. I spend a lot of time with my daughter riding bikes around our neighborhood and practicing soccer in our yard. We also make sure to enjoy movie nights in homemade forts in our living room almost every weekend!  I enjoy doing puzzles and cooking, especially once it starts to get dark earlier and the weather turns cooler. 

Food: Fajitas and ice cream 

Drinks: WaWa coffee and tea

Color: all shades of blue especially teal

Candy: Any type of gummy candy

Favorite Season: Fall and Summer
