You can change your benefits or enroll during an Open Enrollment period, or when you experience a life event. 

Open Enrollment - There are two Open Enrollments per calendar year, providing the opportunity to make specified changes as noted:

•  April 1 through April 30: Open enrollment period for Flex Spending Account, Aflac, dental or vision changes only. Changes effective July 1.
• October 1 through October 31: Open enrollment period for any medical, prescription, dental or vision changes only.  Changes effective January 1.                                     

Life Event - The following events qualify for a Life Event change to your benefits

• Birth of a child, adoption or change in custody of a child
• Marriage, divorce, separation
• Death of spouse or child
• Spouse’s involuntary loss of coverage (i.e., reduction of hours)
