  • golden apple • Pemberton Township Schools serves over 5,000 students from Pemberton Township, Pemberton Borough and Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst.

    • Pemberton Early Childhood Education Center serves 3 and 4 pre-kindergarten students, with a free, full-day preschool educational program.

    • Seven elementary schools are aligned in grade clusters on the elementary campuses; three schools serve K-2; three serve grades 3-5; one serves grades preschool-5.

    • One middle school serves 6th, 7th and 8th grades. 6th graders are in one building, 7th & 8th graders in another.

    • One high school serves grades 9 through 12.

    • Pemberton Township Schools is the FIRST New Jersey school district to earn the esteemed Middle States Accreditation for the entire district.

    • Specialized learning academies at the high school include Aeronautics, Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (A-STEM) ; Medical Arts Academy and the Fine Arts and Music Experience Academy (FAME.)

    • Pemberton’s Program for the Exceptionally Gifted (PPEG) for grades K-5 is designed to meet the needs of gifted learners through a challenging instructional curriculum.

    • The middle and high school AVID program (Advancement via Individual Determination) works to close the achievement gap by preparing all students for college readiness and success in a global society.

    • The district has maintained a proud military affiliation for over 90 years, and the high school JROTC is an award-winning unit with over 100 members.

    • A safe, secure environment with a 3-tiered security system is in place at every school, security monitors are posted at all schools, and anti-bullying programs in place.

    • Championship athletics, outstanding music choral and theatre programs and a broad range of extracurricular activities provide students with ample opportunities to excel outside the classroom.
