Welome to Mrs. Schneider's Second Grade class!  My name is Laura Schneider and I have been teaching at Fort Dix Elementary School for 10 years.  I have my undergraduate degree from Montclair State University and took graduate courses at Rider University for my teaching certificate.  My belief is that all children have the desire to learn!  The greatest gift I can give your child is to create  engaging and relevant learning experiences every day where the students are active participants in the learning process. My goal is to have all students learning at their own level while I am inspiring them to push to the next level. My lessons are student-centered and hands-on activities.  Technology is incorporated in my classroom; students have access to iPads daily for instruction and assessments. My goal is to have my students feel like my classroom is a second home: a place where they feel loved, safe, secure and excited to learn!
