Mrs. Beth Sullivan
Welcome to room 23. I’m excited to be your child’s teacher. This is my sixth year teaching at Fort Dix and as a preschool teacher. Teaching is an exciting adventure. Every day is something new. I enjoy helping my students make new discoveries and learning how they view the world and their environment. My goal is to use their interests to spark curiosity and foster a love of learning that continues for the rest of their life.
A little about me. I grew up in California and moved to New Jersey when I was sixteen. This move from one coast to another grew my interest in trying new things and traveling. I got my Bachelors in Education and Mathematics at Rider University and my Masters in Early Childhood Education from Montclair State University. After I received my Bachelors, I moved to Chicago and started my teaching career as a kindergarten and first grade teacher. I moved back to New Jersey and continued teaching for seven years as a kindergarten teacher in Pleasantville. Then I taught in Brigantine for two years helping students in kindergarten through seventh grade improve their reading and math skills.
I am a mom to two beautiful little girls. They helps me appreciate the little things in life.
I hope your child enjoys this year as much as I will. Please feel free to contact me at 609-893-8141 X 1491 or by email at elsullivan@pemb.org.
