I have been employed by the Pemberton Township School District since September 2002.  I began teaching at Fort Dix Elementary School in September 2011, and have been a member of the Academic Mastery department since September 2019.  I received my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Rowan University in August 2001 and my Master of Arts in Elementary Education in May 2009.  

As one of the ELA Academic Mastery teachers, I assist students in grades K to 5 in building their reading skills.  For grades K to 3 we utilize the Fundations program, while in grades 4 and 5 we use JustWords.  These programs help your child learn to spell and decode words.  We also take time with each grade level to build reading fluency through Guided Reading.

I like to read and watch my Philadelphia sports team.  The Eagles and the Phillies are my favorites.  When I'm not at home, you can usually find me on the beach, but I'm happiest when I am at Disney.  My dream is to visit ALL the Disney Parks - not just Walt Disney World and Disneyland.
