21st Century Community Learning Program
The Pemberton Township Schools 21st Century Program provides free, high-quality afterschool programs to 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students at Busansky, Denbo, and Stackhouse Elementary Schools. We operate for 3 hours after normal school hours. Snack and transportation are provided. 21st Century staff members create activities that coincide with what students are learning in school, and combine cross-content information and 21st Century Skills acquisition through project based learning opportunities. In an enjoyable, kid-centered setting, the program provides opportunities for experiential learning, problem solving, self-direction, creativity, exploration, and expression. The activities engage students in learning and even help prevent “summer learning loss” through a 4-week summer program. 21st Century Community Learning Centers are 100% federally funded under Title IV of the Every Student Succeeds Act, through the New Jersey Department of Education.
