New Jersey School of Character
Helen A. Fort Middle School is proud to announce that we have officially received the designation of National School of Character by Character.org. Helen A. Fort Middle School is 1 of 27 New Jersey schools to receive this powerful distinction, and 1 of only 5 middle schools in New Jersey. Schools of Character prove that when school communities come together for a common purpose, amazing things happen. Schools of Character work—for students, parents, and communities. Staff and students at Helen A. Fort Middle School will continue to work toward fostering our commitment to empathy, zest, grit, optimism, curiosity, and self-control and are honored to be named a National School of Character!
