Hello!  I began my teaching journey in New York City what seems like many years ago.  There I taught ELA and SS at an Intermediate school for six years.  After moving to Jackson NJ, I taught at Manalapan-Englishtown Middle School for three years.  I then came to Pemberton, where I began teaching seventh-grade ELA at Helen Fort Middle School for seven years. I moved across the street to Newcomb Middle School in 2012 and have been here ever since.  It's hard to believe I have been teaching middle school for over 25 years! I am an avid reader, traveler and diver and live at the end of a tree-lined dead-end with my husband and Great Pyrenees Mountain-Dog named Misti.
