Hi! I'm Mrs. Schaaf!
In my eyes, teaching is the greatest profession. Ever since I was a child, I spent time playing “teacher” and decided to follow my passion to teach. I have been lucky enough to teach 6th Grade Math at Newcomb Middle School for my entire teaching career, which started in 2014. My goal is to change the way my students look at math and use it in their lives. I love to make learning math fun!
I graduated from Monmouth University with a dual Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Elementary Education with a Middle School Math Endorsement. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, cooking and baking, shopping, and exercising. I like to spend most of my summer at the beach!
