Principal Kelly Reising

  • Kelly ReisingMs. Kelly Reising proudly became the Principal of Fort Dix Elementary School in July 2025. With over two decades of experience in education, she brings a diverse and well-rounded background in teaching, counseling, and administration to her leadership role.

    Ms. Reising began her career in September 2001 as a History teacher at Northern Burlington County Regional High School. During her tenure there, she also served as a class advisor, coached basketball and track, and advised the STOP Club, a student-led organization focused on social responsibility, cultural appreciation, and community outreach. In 2008, she transitioned into school counseling, initially part-time, before becoming a full-time counselor in 2009.

    As a school counselor, Ms. Reising led multiple support groups, including those focused on grief and loss, military student support, and students from non-traditional familial households. She also served as the school's NCAA eligibility counselor and spearheaded a grant-funded initiative to implement Personalized Student Learning Plans.

    In 2015, Ms. Reising joined the Audubon Public Schools administrative team as Director of School Counseling. There, she expanded academic options through the district’s Option II program, tailored to meet the diverse needs of students in a small community setting. Her leadership extended to overseeing the School Choice program, coordinating state testing, serving as District 504 Compliance Officer, and leading the District Crisis Response Team. In June 2020, she was appointed Co-Principal for Grades 7–9, where she prioritized social-emotional learning post-pandemic and implemented a Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) framework.

    In 2022, Ms. Reising continued her administrative journey as Assistant Principal at William G. Rohrer Middle School in the Haddon Township School District. In that role, she was responsible for curriculum and instruction, student conduct, and served as the school’s Anti-Bullying Specialist.

    Ms. Reising draws on her extensive experience as a teacher, counselor, administrator, and parent to support students, educators, staff, and families. She is committed to fostering a learning environment that cultivates responsible, empathetic, and productive citizens. With a deep belief in the importance of emotional intelligence as a foundation for academic success, she emphasizes social-emotional learning and self-regulation in her work with students.

    As a proud member of a military-connected family, Ms. Reising brings a personal understanding and profound respect for the unique challenges faced by military families. She considers it a privilege to support the Fort Dix and greater Pemberton school communities, and is dedicated to ensuring every student receives the care, attention, and education they deserve.
