Welcome to Math!

This is my fourth year teaching, and I cannot wait for another exciting year! In math we use the book Big Ideas Math. For 7th grade we use the red book, and for 8th grade we use the blue book. In my class this year I will be utilizing small groups and stations.  This allows for more direct and individualized instruction.  In addition, we will be using hands on activities, so the students are able to manipulate and visualize the problems. 

Below are two of my favorite quotes that I try to utilize in my classroom:
