I have  been the woodshop teacher at Helen Fort Middle School for 16 years. I wrote the course to cover hand tool and machine safety for small projects, to cabinet making, and construction.

My class starts off with various safety lessons on hand tools and machines.  Once my students are comfortable using tools, they are started on small projects. As their skill level grows they get into cabinet making, and our construction of our mini house project.
