Welcome to Kindergarten!

My name is Yvette Gaskins and I love teaching kindergarten! This is my tenth year teaching kindergarten at Emmons. My goal is to always create a comfortable, exciting, safe, and challenging learning environment! I strive to encourage my students to become lifelong learners.  I believe it is essential to work as a team, to ensure each child grows academically, emotionally, and socially.

Fun Facts About Me: I love to cook.  My favorite season is fall. My favorite sport is basketball!
