WELCOME TO FIRST GRADE! 

My name is Mrs. Helena Weeks, and I am so excited to be joining the Emmons family this school year! This will be my 15th year teaching special education and my 2nd year with Pemberton Township Schools. Throughout my career, most of my teaching experience has been at the middle school level, but last year I had the opportunity to work with Pemberton's preschool and pre-k students. It has always been a desire of mine to teach at the elementary level, so I am thrilled to combine my various experiences and bring them to Emmons!

I believe that every child can learn when given the appropriate instruction and proper support. My work as a special educator includes discovering how curriculum needs to be presented and how students can best be supported. Every child has unique preferences and needs in the classroom, and the more I learn about them, the better I can teach. I look forward to a wonderful year learning about all of my students while watching them grow. I plan to foster an environment where all students experience success in the classroom!
