Miss Arielle Rubinstein
Hello! My name is Arielle Rubinstein, and I am the speech-language specialist currently working at Stackhouse Elementary. I also service students at Ft. Dix Elementary. This is my second year in the district, and the beginning of my fifth year working as an SLP. I have worked in a variety of school-based settings with children ranging from grades K-12.
During speech-language sessions, the students and I will work hard to make progress toward their goals while participating in fun and functional activities. I incorporate literature, crafts, and interactive games into my sessions to promote active learning through engagement. I also strive to include curricular based tasks in my sessions to ensure that students progress across all academic domains. Generalization of learned skills beyond the context of the therapy room is achieved through frequent repetition and practice, and I welcome parent participation at any time to foster students' growth. I occassionally will send home worksheets/handouts to encourage continued work on students' speech and language skills.
In my free time, I enjoy making speech and language materials/games for my students to use during our sessions. I am looking forward to working with the students of Stackhouse this year! Please feel free to contact me at any time with questions, concerns, or requests for resources.
