The Latest Buzzzz…

Dear Families,

This week in our class we:

  • Explored the songs: Falling Leaves and Five Little Pumpkins Sitting On A Gate
  • Discussed Fall Customs and traditions
  • Read “Good Night Gorilla”
  • Sang the “Itsy Bitsy Spider” using different emotions
  • Explored different movements using “Little Sally Walker”
  • Created Snake Stories
  • Began to notice different types of measurement terms

 

 

Next week we will:

  • Begin exploring our mathematics curriculum: Numbers Plus
  • Continue to discuss the changes of the season
  • Explored with using number words, counting and using one to one correspondence
  • Taste and compare assorted flavors of Apples

 

 

A few reminders:

  • We would like to thank everyone for the amazing family pictures. Please feel free to send in more pictures, as we would like to fill up the entire board.
  • Please remember to dress the children appropriately for the weather. We will continue to enjoy our playground throughout the fall season. 
  • Please remember that biker/cartwheel shorts are a must, if wearing a skirt or dress.
  • The children are adjusting amazingly! Our class is really becoming a great class family! 
  • We are in need of Green, Red and Yellow Apples. If you are able to donate one of these items, please let me know by Monday as we will be tasting on Thursday, October 6th, 2016.

 

DATES TO REMEMBER

  • No School due to Teacher’s In- Service- Wednesday, October 5th, 2016
  • School Closed in observance of Columbus Day –Monday, October 10, 2016
  • Life Touch Pictures- Tuesday, October 18th, 2016
