Mrs. Donna Scarabaggio
This is my 20th year in Education, and my fifth year here in Pemberton Township. I love working with children, and helping them to grow academically, socially, and emotionally. I believe that my job as a teacher is to help create independent thinkers, who become life-long learners. I also strongly believe that communication is key when it comes to promoting successful students. I value the parent-teacher relationship, and encourage parents to reach out to me if, and whenever, necessary.
Research has shown that reading greatly improves students' reading skills specifically, and their overall academic skills in general. Please read nightly with your child....not only will this help them find greater success with their schoolwork, but it will also give you that 'special bonding time' with your child.
I hold two Bachelor of Arts degrees. One is in Education, and the other is in Social and Behavioral Sciences. I also have my Master of Education in Administration degree. I have teaching experience at EVERY grade level from Kindergarten through 8th Grade, except First Grade. I love teaching Second Grade, and look forward to having a successful and fun academic school year!
