Welcome to Second Grade!

This will be my eighth year teaching at Emmons Elementary! I have previously taught one year in first grade and this will be my seventh year teaching second grade! I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education from Kean University in 2015. I also have a Master of Arts Degree in Reading from Grand Canyon University.

I strive to create a nurturing classroom where students feel free to express their thoughts and ideas and enjoy collaborating with their classmates. My goal is to support and challenge students while maintaining a positive learning environment.

I am looking forward to a fun and successful year in second grade!
