Hello! I’m Mr. Michael Riehl, and I’m thrilled to be a part of our school community as a Fifth-Grade Teacher. I’m starting my ninth year in education and have enjoyed helping students grow both academically and personally.

Previously, I spent seven years teaching Fourth Grade, where I developed a passion for creating engaging and supportive learning environments. I believe every student deserves the chance to thrive, and I’m committed to making that happen in my classroom.

In addition to teaching, I’ve served as a K-8 building administrator in roles such as assistant pincipal and principal, where I worked closely with students with disABILITIES and neurodivergent learners. These experiences have deepened my commitment to creating an inclusive classroom environment that supports all students.

I hold a Bachelor's degree from Rowan University and a Master’s in Education from William Paterson University (WPU). I am currently a doctoral candidate (Ed.D.) at WPU, focusing on equity leadership in New Jersey schools. My goal is to ensure that every student succeeds and feels empowered and valued in their educational journey.

I’m excited to work closely with you and your child this year to create a positive and supportive learning experience. Together, we’ll make this a year of meaningful growth and discovery.
