Ms. Emily Arnot

I am a fifth grade teacher at Alexander Denbo Elementary School! I grew up in Burlington County and love getting to be a part of the Denbo community!

I am NJEA K-6 certified with advanced standing. I attended the University of Delaware for my undergraduate degree, where I graduated in 2016. I completed my post graduate program at Rider University in 2018.

I strive to make my classroom a community full of support, respect, and care. Students can achieve amazing things when they are ready work hard and know that mistakes are always a chance to learn and never something to fear. I encourage creativity and student led initiative when it comes to their learning. My hope is that each student that enters my classroom finds that individual spark of passion or curiosity that gets them excited to be a life-long learner.

Besides teaching, I love reading and painting! I also played field hockey at the University of Delaware and now coach field hockey for a local club team. In my free time I like to cook, try new restaurants, and spend time with my friends, siblings, and nephew!

I have an open communication policy, so please feel free to reach out to me via email, phone, or ClassDojo!
