Ms. Diane Santucci

Hello! My name is Ms. Santucci, and this is my second year serving as a School Social Worker at Busansky School. I graduated from William Paterson University with a Bachelor’s Degree in both Criminal Justice and Sociology. After graduating, I had the pleasure of working as a Supervisor for the Ocean County Head Start Program. In September of 2009, I went back to school to pursue my dream of becoming a School Social Worker. I graduated from Monmouth University in June of 2013, with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work.  After receiving my graduate degree, I had the opportunity to serve as a Substance Abuse Assessment Counselor for Preferred Children’s Services in Somerset, NJ. Although helping others suffering from addiction was rewarding, my passion has always been working directly with children and families, so when a position with the Early Intervention Program became available, I immediately applied and returned to what I love doing, assisting children and families. While working as a Service Coordinator, for the Burlington County Early Intervention Program, I had the pleasure of collaborating with the wonderful Pemberton Child Study Team members during transition planning from Early Intervention into Pemberton’s pre-school program. Out of all the districts I came in contact with, I truly enjoyed working together with Pemberton’s competent and professional staff. When a school social worker position for Pemberton became available, I applied and prayed, as I could see myself as a member of their team. I’m honored to say that I am a School Social Worker for the Pemberton Township Public School District. I love everything about my job and truly enjoy working together with the students and families at Busansky School.
