Miss Alyssa Brown
Hello!
Welcome to ABA preschool! ABA preschool holds a huge spot in my heart. I am truly fascinated by the positive relationship between ABA and the developmental process in preschool aged children. C13's 2016-2017 team of teachers consist of Mrs. Damaris Alveraz, Mrs. Doreen Matt and Mrs. Robin Parker. All 3 assistants have worked in ABA for many year and are extremely talented in what the application of applied behavior analysis!
A Little About Me: I have focused my career and education on studying and exploring both Early Chilhood Education and Behavior Analysis in various dynamics and environments. In 2009, just prior to graduating from Rutgers University with a Bachelors degree in Childhood Studies, I began my career in education as a preschool assistant in a PSD classroom. In an effort to expand my experience with the special needs population I began providing in- class behavioral support with students of various grade levels and needs. In 2012, I began teaching preschool inclusion during the day while working as a VBT( verbal behavior therapist) and a Developmental Specialist for the New Jersey Early Intervention System in the evenings . In the summer of 2016 I was extended the great opportunity to join team PECEC for the ABA PSD program. I am eager and excited to be on a 5 star team doing the job that I love most!
When I am not in preschool I am attending courses at Rowan University towards a BCABA ( Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysis) and spending time with my nephew and niece, Maddox and CeCe.
