The mission of the Marcus W. Newcomb Elementary School is to provide a safe and caring environment. As a community, we encourage a love of learning as a lifelong process, respect for self and others, and a commitment to the preservation of the environment.

Vision Statement

The community of the Marcus W. Newcomb Elementary School believes that every child has the potential to succeed. Collectively we strive to provide a safe and peaceful environment by fostering self-esteem, encouraging flexibility of thought, and celebrating individual cultural diversity. Our vision is aimed towards promoting the concepts of spirit, pride, and success, three qualities exemplified by our namesake, Dr. Marcus W. Newcomb.
